If a brand is bold enough to name a line of sex toys after some of the most glamorous starlets of Old Hollywood fame, and along with them, one of the most admired and iconic women of the royal family, they’d best not disappoint. And I for one, believe Jopen pulled it off with their dazzling, crystalline-studded collection, aptly named the Jopen Pavé collection. A glitzy line of vibrators with an air of opulence worthy of ownership by the stars they were named after.

Each toy is an alluring shade of robin’s egg blue. And each one is adorned with a large, striking faux-diamond, which doubles as a power button. This central “glass stone slash button” is encircled by two concentric rings of glittering pavé set (glass) diamonds. In addition to the faux diamond control, each toy is equipped with separate dual + and – control buttons. All except for the Pavé Liz. A small, wearable finger-vibe that has a single bezel-set glass “diamond” instead, which acts as its only control button.

Just so you know, all the Jopen Pavé toys are waterproof, rechargeable, and silicone coated. In my estimation, Jopen made a very deliberate effort to encompass a broad range of silhouettes and motors in this lineup of toys. I imagine they did so, in hope of catering to a broader spectrum of potential users. And in my experience with using them, some of these designs were hits and one, in particular, is a huge miss.

Jopen Pavé Liz – terrifically buzzy….just not doing it for me

Interestingly enough, this is the toy that attracted me to the Jopen Pavé collection in the first place. I’m subconsciously drawn to smaller toys. And the idea of a discreet wearable finger vibe sounded like my cup of tea.

The Liz is designed to slip over one of your fingers and is meant to be worn like a ring. A sound concept, yes, but the execution leaves much to be desired. The flat underside of the vibe is inscribed with a raised bullseye pattern. I’m assuming these textured rings were meant to heighten the overall sensations of the Pavé Liz, but I consider them to be nothing more than for show. The Liz’s flat silicone surface, even with this added bit of texture, doesn’t lend itself well to transferring this motor’s pitifully watered-down vibrations.

This design is easily the most simplistic of the Pavé Collection. And as I mentioned earlier, this uncomplicated vibrator has one, single control button for its seven vibrations. Shockingly enough, only one of which is a steady variant. Not a good look for a vibrator, I must say. I was disappointed to learn that sickly pulsation and weak escalation patterns populated the rest of Liz’s vibrational playlist. None of which are anywhere near the passable variety.

Worse still, Pavé Liz motor is evocative of a pathetically puny swarm of mosquitos humming about my genitals. And similarly, my first impulse is to hastily swat this tiny itch-inducing vibrator away from my body as quickly as possible. As you likely have already surmised, the motor did little more than provoke my ire. It was more of a nuisance vibe than anything else.

In this toy’s defense, Pavé Liz did feel moderately invigorating when grazing past my nipples. However, this minuscule perk, alone, does little to negate the toy’s avalanche of cons.

The short version of the story; simply save yourself some time, and don’t waste your money.

Jopen Pavé Grace – making progress…headed in the right direction

The Grace’s motor is a tremendous upgrade to Pavé Liz’s fundamentally flawed design and its feeble-assed motor. While I still gauge it to be on the buzzier end of the spectrum and to be lacking in the vibrational depth I often champion, here, on my blog. I am pleased to divulge that I was easily capable of orgasming multiple times while using Grace.

The Pavé Grace also outshines the Liz by offering a wider variety of functions. The Grace, along with all the other Jopen Pave models have seven functions of vibration and five speeds for each. For a total of thirty-five individual settings. If you’re were wondering, yes, that’s a lot.

I can’t help but appreciate how the Grace fits effortlessly into my cupped palm. My biggest complaint is with the Grace’s more-or-less smooth bottom. It’s highly ineffective at administering the pinpoint stimulation that I seek. Which obviously conflicts with my thirst for pinpoint stimulation.

Admittedly, this particular grievance speaks more to my personal bias, and thus, perhaps, shouldn’t reflect poorly on the vibrator itself. After some experimentation, I was successful at using the honed-edge of the Grace to zero in on the right side of my clit and experience some of those highly focused vibrations I crave. After which I’m happy to report multiple orgasms ensued.

In my best estimation, the Pavé Grace is a toy best suited for someone who doesn’t mind traces of buzz in their toys’ vibration. Someone who won’t miss the explosive rumbles of more potent vibrators. Unlike the near meritless, virtually irredeemable Liz, I foresee there being a large audience for the Grace.

Jopen Pavé Diana – decent motor, great shape for pinpoint stimulation

Well, we’re movin’ on up! The Jopen Pavé Diana, as far as I’m concerned, is better still. I find its double-pronged, “tuning fork-esque” configuration to be a vast improvement over the nearly nonexistent swell on the underside of the Pavé Grace. Its tapered tips are far more conducive to satisfying my pinpoint inclinations, especially in comparison to Grace’s amorphous bump.

The rigidity of the twin prongs makes them more efficient at focusing and amplifying the mid-level vibrations dispensed by the Diana’s motor. From what I can tell, the Diana and the Grace share the same exact motor, if I find out otherwise I will be sure to make a correction to this review. The only difference is the Diana’s shape is better equipped at transferring the motor’s vibrations where they need to go.

The Pavé Diana is an excellent vibrator for those of you who are searching for a toy with a mid-range motor, with just a hint of buzziness.

Jopen Pavé Marilyn – excellent g-spot silhouette, with a Rumbly motor

The Creme le’ de Creme. Now we’re cooking with gas. Finally, there is some rumble to speak of, and just when I was about to give up hope. The Marilyn is my darling of the Pavé Collection. It wins by a landslide. This is the only toy among the four variations that are blessed with some truly-authentic rumbly vibrations.

The Mariyn’s spectacularly blends rumbly vibrations, with a more than ample 1.5-inch diameter, and 6-inches of insertable length. All of these attributes coalesce to formulate one epic g-spot pleasing vibrator. One that I absolutely adore.

The key to my finding the Marilyn so exceptional (besides those rumbly vibrations I’m always raving on about) is the toy’s squat, snub-nosed end. It’s the perfect finish to the Marilyn’s delicate J-curve, which arises about midway down the vibrator’s shaft. I’m suggesting this is not a revolutionary shape by any means. We’ve seen similar interpretations numerous times before the Pavé Marilyn made its appearance on the scene.

No matter, this flattened tip creates a broader surface space, which makes it a terrific toy to wedge up against the g-spot and rock back and forth. When I’m using the Marilyn, I rarely feel any urgency to thrust. Just gently rocking the handle back and forth does the trick for me.

I guess, it almost goes without saying, that the Marilyn’s rumbly vibrations make for some incredible external stimulation. Oh my gosh, I can’t get enough.

The Marilyn unquestionably ranks among my top G-spotting vibrators. It joins the ranks of the Fun Factory Stronic G, the Sola Cue, and the We-Vibe Rave. It’s a keeper, and my top pick out of the Jopen Pavé collection, end of story.
