The Vixen Creations Leo Galaxy presents quite the dichotomy. It takes a classic, (almost pedestrian dildo) and pairs it up with what is, quite literally, an out-of-this-world design aesthetic.
But, if you ask me, sometimes simple is underrated. There’s nothing wrong with devouring a massive bowl of plain-old vanilla ice cream every once in a while. Along your journey to try all 31 flavors.
And, quite honestly, nothing comes close to describing the classic silhouette of Vixen Creations Leo, then the word simplistic.
Using the Leo quickly reminded me that I don’t always require all the bells and whistles of extreme textures and excessive girths to appreciate and enjoy a dildo.
Sometimes all I really want, all I truly need is a bulging coronal ridge and a silky smooth, modestly curved shaft to drag against my G-spot. And with its 6.75-inch insertable length, and 1.6-inch broadest width, that is precisely what the Leo affords me; enough textbook features to satisfy my G-spot, whilst supplying me with an air of pleasant fullness which I endlessly crave.
I think it’s pretty clear what drew me to the Leo Galaxy in the first place. Have you ever beheld a silicone dildo as beautiful as this? With its swirling clouds of “cosmic dust” and flecks of silver glitter, masquerading as meteorites, vast unexplored universes, and gleaming supernovas. The Leo Galaxy is a work of silicone artristy. No two will ever be exactly the same.
The Leo is hand-poured in what I’ve come to think of as Vixen Creations often under-appreciated, often under-valued, single-density silicone. I won’t deny that Vixen’s Vixskin® dual-density silicone is hands-down closest to mimicking real, human flesh than any other silicone out there. But, I also think it needs to be said that their single-density silicone is no slouch either. In fact, I think it’s an ideal choice for first-time dildo buyers seeking a moderate level of firmness.
The best way I can describe Vixen’s single-density silicone is firm, yet yielding, with just a hint of squish. The Leo comes with a hollowed-out cavity for the included Vroom bullet vibe. Drawing on past experiences, these tiny bullet vibes and the vibrations they generate rarely fare well at penetrating through to the surface of the thick silicone dildos they come with.
I’m sad to say, and the Leo Galaxy is no different in this regard. Not even my beloved We-Vibe Tango, with its famously robust vibrations, was able to penetrate the Leo Galaxy’s dense silicone veneer in any meaningful way. Their cumulative efforts feel closer to a light, surface-level tickle than any measure of pleasurable penetrative vibrations. This ultimately triggered more of an annoying itchy sensation than any identifiable pleasure, per se.
My advice, just skip the bullet vibe.
The Vixen Leo Galaxy is capable of holding its own without the addition of vibration, anyways. Like a little black dress, its uncomplicated design translates into mega versatility. And might I add, I think it to be a perfect introductory option for Vixen Creations toys.
