How does that old saying go? “Love conquers all”. Romantic, isn’t it? Yeah, well, call me a cynic because I have my doubts about the veracity of this claim where romantic love is concerned.
Self-love, on the other hand, pardon the pun, has never let me down. Remember, above all else to love yourself!
Celebrate the bounty that is self-pleasure, one of the major perks of being human.
Three years! That’s right, for three fun-filled years, now, I have been at this sex toy reviewing gig. I deem that’s as something worthy of celebration, don’t you?
So that’s exactly what we’re about to do.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Traditionally it has been the sole western holiday designated to celebrate romantic love in all its forms. Seeing as how self-love and masturbation are just as valid as any of the other socially accepted forms of intimacy, (and maybe even more so) I wanted to make it a point this year to celebrate this very often overlooked expression of intimacy this Valentine’s Day.

Personally, I love giveaways. Growing up I always made sure to return my Publishers Clearing House entry form. While truly believing that Ed McMahon might show up any day at my front door with his entourage of people and television cameras and don’t forget that infamous six-foot long check. I never realized I was already disqualified just for being a minor. Doh!

If you were bummed that you didn’t win the Fun Factory Stronic G, I have some news to share that just may cheer you right up. Or at least I hope it does.
Giving away just one-single toy didn’t feel like it was enough to adequately show my appreciation for all the love and support you all have given me over the last two years. So,
“Time flys when you’re having fun,” and the last couple years spent writing this blog, certainly lend credence to this old adage. Proving that it’s at least partially true. It’s still hard for me to believe that two full years have passed since its inception.
Looking back over these last two years brings an ancient Chinese proverb to mind -“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
Last month I celebrated my first blogiversary by hosting a We-Vibe Tango giveaway. The only problem; entries were limited to the United States only. Having to leave out all my readers from around the globe just didn’t sit well with me. So Thankfully, I have the chance to rectify that problem. And all because of the generosity of the kind folks over at Peepshow Toys!
Since summer has arrived and temperatures are rising,
Wow, I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I started writing this blog. During the past twelve months, I’ve learned a lot and continue to gain more knowledge and understanding about myself, sex toys, and blogging on a daily basis. I have been told the best way to learn a skill, is just to do it. And in the case of blogging, I couldn’t agree more.
