Advertising Disclosure & Affiliation Links
This site accepts forms of paid advertising and sponsorship. Although most revenue is provided by way of affiliate links. When these links are used to make a purchase I receive a percentage of the total sale, at no cost to you. The percentage rates vary. This does not influence my opinion of the products I review. I take great pride in my honesty and integrity. Standing by my promise to be forthright in all the information that I present.
Most products I review on this blog are given to me free of charge in exchange for a fair and honest review. Links in these reviews typically direct the reader to the affiliated partner who provided the product for review. Other products are purchased by me, out-of-pocket. Links in these posts may or may not be affiliate links. So its best to assume that all links found in review content are affiliate links.
I want to stress this again, though I do receive compensation for advertisements and purchases made via affiliate links. However, I strive to give you my unbiased and honest findings, beliefs, and experiences on the topics I cover or products I review here.

Backwoods Bedroom runs on the WordPress platform, which is always kept up-to-date as a security precaution.
My contact form plugin only sends me the information the user specifies directly in the form.
I use Google Analytics to monitor traffic data, with IP anonymization active; Remarketing, Advertising Reporting Features, and Data Sharing Settings turned off.
Backwoods Bedroom utilizes affiliate links to track sales via cookies. All gathered information is stored on individual affiliate programs’ servers, not my own. These programs do not make customers’ personally-identifying data visible to me as an affiliate. A few of the programs log IP addresses, but I do not look at, keep, or use them for any purpose.
The comments section on Backwoods Bedroom runs on Disqus. Currently, users with Disqus accounts can opt-out of tracking across all devices and browsers where they are logged in.
Email addresses and names (if specified) are collected by MailChimp and Feedburner when a user chooses to sign up for my email newsletters, using a double opt-in system to ensure consent. Users may unsubscribe at any time from the footers of these emails, or I can unsubscribe them manually by request.
Whenever I mention the name of a reader, such as in my giveaway wrap-up posts, I have confirmed their consent first.
