Time to Give Back: Win a Fun Factory Stronic G Pulsator!

“Time flys when you’re having fun,” and the last couple years spent writing this blog, certainly lend credence to this old adage. Proving that it’s at least partially true. It’s still hard for me to believe that two full years have passed since its inception.

Looking back over these last two years brings an ancient Chinese proverb to mind -“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Anyone who’s done any writing has surely faced down the daunting, black cursor blinking unflinchingly back at them from their computer screen. Now, just try imaging it’s your first few days as a newly minted sex blogger. There is not only a single blank page to fill, but pages, upon pages, to fill.

You can allow it to intimidate you, like standing in the vast shadow of an enormous mountain that you’re intent on climbing. Although, it feels nearly impossible from your vantage point, at the bottom. Or you can view the clean, white emptiness, as a doorway to the unknown and step across that threshold.

Afterall, “a blank page is also a door…” according to Novelist David Mitchell

For the sake of my sanity, I chose the doorway and decided to take it one step at a time.

Although, sometimes I still need reminding that blogging is a marathon, not a sprint. Or perhaps, a better analogy is blogging is a journey, not a destination. Either way, I know that it’s important to pace myself, lest I burn myself out.

From time to time, I need to pause and take a look around at the progress I’ve made and celebrate it. I need to take a deep breath in and be proud of how far I’ve come in these two short years time.

So, in the spirit of celebration, I want to give something back to my readers. I honestly wish I could give something to each and every one of you, but I know that’s not possible.
