This toy makes me smile. And why shouldn’t it? What with its cheerful shade of shamrock green and plucky caterpillar-inspired shape, replete with a tiny-little face beaming back at me.
It’s a true classic amongst the sex toy horde. I’d even venture to say that the Patchy Paul encapsulates Fun Factory as a brand. In other words, it’s a bright, cheery, unapologetically eccentric mascot of sorts. Not to mention,
Three years! That’s right, for three fun-filled years, now, I have been at this sex toy reviewing gig. I deem that’s as something worthy of celebration, don’t you?
So that’s exactly what we’re about to do.

So, me and Laya II, we’ve come full circle.
My first review, fresh out of Epiphora and JoEllen’s sex blogging class, was my anguished take on how startlingly unimpressive I found the original version of this toy to be. Back then, it was called the Layaspot.
Since that post, we’ve collectively witnessed not one, but two upgrades, to the toy everyone assumes they’re going to love.
There comes a time when you have to throw in the towel and admit defeat. And I’d say that time has already come and past where it pertains to me and the hunt for my “Goldilocks” of dual stimulation vibrators. If you remember, I started this charge with a gung-ho, raring to go attitude. Feeling (perhaps, looking back now,) overly confident that, although the road might be rocky, the goal would eventually be met.
Nothing is more soul-crushing than a toy I was convinced I was going to adore, turning out to be is just plain “blah.” Or worse still, incapable of yielding me with one measly orgasm.
Forgive me, if perhaps, I was too easily beguiled by what I saw as the Volita’s potential to be a cheaper, travel-friendly alternative to one of my favorites. Yes, I’m pointing toward Fun Factory’s oddly shaped,
For those of you who secretly doubt that you could ever find harmony with the Volta’s bizarre-looking design, I appreciate and identify with your ambivalence. I don’t think anyone would dare try to argue that the Fun Factory Volta isn’t an awkward-looking little fella? What, with its upturned beak, (or is that a bill?) molded in such a way, that it will remain forever frozen slightly agape.
However, I honestly think if you give it a try,
“Time flys when you’re having fun,” and the last couple years spent writing this blog, certainly lend credence to this old adage. Proving that it’s at least partially true. It’s still hard for me to believe that two full years have passed since its inception.
Looking back over these last two years brings an ancient Chinese proverb to mind -“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
If you haven’t had the chance to experience one of Fun Factory’s Stronic vibes in person, I mean actually hold one in your hand and feel its thrusting. Then it’s 
hard to express to you in plain English what an astonishing innovation this pulsating line of toys truly are. After doing a bit of cursory reading on the Stronic pulsator line. I thought I could accurately predict what one of these toy’s movements would feel like,
